چکیده

I comment on the above paper(s) discussing the issue of non-ultralocality for GinspargWilson fermionic actions. The purpose of this note is to point out that the new claim in “v3” (Feb 24, 2000), alleging the proof of non-ultralocality for “all Ginsparg-Wilson fermions”, might not be substantiated. The remarkable evolution of versions of this paper is put in context with the literature existing at the time of their appearance.

Fewer latent herpes simplex virus type 1 and cytotoxic T cells occur in the ophthalmic division than in the maxillary and mandibular divisions of the human trigeminal ganglion and nerve.

Following primary infection of the mouth, herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) travels retrogradely along the maxillary (V2) or mandibular (V3) nerve to the trigeminal ganglion (TG), where it establishes lifelong latency. Symptomatic HSV-1 reactivations frequently manifest as herpes labialis, while ocular HSV-1 disease is rare. We investigated whether these clinical observations are mirrored by ...

On Simultaneous 2-locally-balanced 2-partition for Two Forests with Same Vertices

The existence of a partition of the common set of the vertices of two forests into two subsets, when difference of their capacities in the neighbourhood of each vertex of each forest not greater than 2 is proved, and an example, which shows that improvement of the specified constant is impossible is brought. In this paper we continue researches started in [1-2], devoted to locally-balanced part...

Visually Driven Activation in Macaque Areas V2 and V3 without Input from the Primary Visual Cortex

Creating focal lesions in primary visual cortex (V1) provides an opportunity to study the role of extra-geniculo-striate pathways for activating extrastriate visual cortex. Previous studies have shown that more than 95% of neurons in macaque area V2 and V3 stop firing after reversibly cooling V1. However, no studies on long term recovery in areas V2, V3 following permanent V1 lesions have been ...

The V1-V2-V3 complex: quasiconformal dipole maps in primate striate and extra-striate cortex

The mapping function w = k log(z + a) is a widely accepted approximation to the topographic structure of primate V1 foveal and parafoveal regions. A better model, at the cost of an additional parameter, captures the full field topographic map in terms of the dipole map function w = k log[(z + a)/(z + b)]. However, neither model describes topographic shear since they are both explicitly complex-...

Event-related functional MRI of cortical activity evoked by microsaccades, small visually-guided saccades, and eyeblinks in human visual cortex

We used event-related functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to determine blood oxygen-level-dependent (BOLD) signal changes following microsaccades, visually-guided saccades, and eyeblinks in retinotopically mapped visual cortical areas V1-V3 and hMT+. A deconvolution analysis revealed a similar pattern of BOLD activation following a microsaccade, 0.16 degrees voluntary saccade, and 0.16...
